Molla Sadra’s Philosophy and Resolving “is” and “must” Challenges in Education

Abstract

This article searching for a way to solve “is” and “must” challenges in education.
Educators are faced a logical challenge that cannot be solved based on scientific principles of education. In this way an educator cannot use educational “must” according to scientific defaults of evident. Therefore, we should find a way in order to resolve the relationship between “must” and “is” in education. This explanation is soluble in Molla Sadra’s philosophy that will be discussed in the present article.
According to Molla Sadra, acts of self can be divided in to natural and optional categories. Because the self-absorption and excretion in natural acts is the main source and export act of self is the self intrinsic effects, so the pre-scientific assumptions will be used. But in optional acts of self which based on science and will, self acts need perspective end and explanation that is soluble in Molla Sadra‘s viewpoints. Using this explanation, “is” and “must” challenges are soluble in educational acts.
