Abstract

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of a Bybee instructional design model on learning English language learning. The study was quasi-experimental. The statistical population consisted of all male students of the first year of high school in Sar-e-Pol Zahab city in the academic year of 2016-2016. Using multi-stage cluster random sampling, 66 individuals were selected as statistical sample (33 experiments, 33 controls). The instrument used in this study was a researcher-made learning rate test. The validity of the researcher-made learning test was used by experts to confirm the face validity of the test and the reliability of the test was determined by the Kuder and Rigderson method. Data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation indices and covariance analysis test. The results showed that the mean learning scores of the students in the experimental group who used the Bebi educational design model were significantly higher than the control group who were trained in the post-test (p = 0.001). There was also a significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the learning test (p <0.05).
