A teacher at the level of Nahj al-Balagheh: the necessary characteristics of a teacher in training a teacher according to Nahj al-Balagheh

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to investigate the teacher's characteristics at the level of Nahj al-Balagha. The method used in this research is qualitative and based on thematic analysis. The questions raised in the present research are the position and definition of a teacher from the point of view of Nahj al-Balagha and Imam Ali (AS). What are the characteristics of a teacher from the perspective of Nahj al-Balagha and Imam Ali (AS)?
The findings show that in response to the first question, the teacher is the initiator of education, correct or incorrect education starts from him. Also, a teacher in the dictionary of Ali's words can be defined in the key words of moral sensitivity towards others and responsibility towards them. In response to the second question, one can refer to the general characteristics of moral sensitivity, responsibility, piety and acceptability; And also, the specific characteristics of attitude, mentality, realism, empiricism, criticality, knowledge-building, and loving-centeredness were mentioned.
