Abstract

Today, education systems have increasingly turned to delegating authority to schools in the field of decision-making. The special school program (Boom Plan) is a program that is implemented in Iran's second period elementary schools in a decentralized and school-oriented manner. In this regard present research was conducted with the aim of evaluating the quality of the special school program (Boom Plan) in the elementary schools of Zarch city, Yazd province. The research approach was "qualitative" and the method was "phenomenological". The "target group" included all administrators, teachers and parents of second period elementary schools in the academic year of 1400-1401, 17 of whom were interviewed in a purposeful manner. The research tool was "in-depth semi-structured interview". Data collection was completed after reaching theoretical saturation. The data were analyzed by the method of "coding" and "categorization" and were validated through "triangulation" in the form of "data" and "researcher". In total, the findings were obtained in the form of 5 main themes and 16 sub-themes. The findings indicated some influential factors in this plan Such as cooperation and participation, infrastructure facilities, responding to the needs and interests of learners, content and skills of education. In the end, some practical suggestions were presented.
