Abstract
The present research aims to investigate the impact of the time perspective educational package on long-term self-regulation learning and anxiety reduction of elementary school students in the second stage in the city of Susangerd. The research method is semi-experimental. The statistical population consisted of all male students in the second stage of elementary school in Susangerd, from which 30 were selected based on a multi-stage cluster sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. The measurement tools for this research were the self-regulation checklist for adolescents by Dias et al. (2014) and the Spence Children's Anxiety Scale (1997). The time perspective training package based on the theory of Boyard and Zimbardo (1999) was conducted over 8 sessions of 60 minutes for the experimental group. Data analysis was performed using univariate and multivariate covariance. The results of the study indicated that time perspective training leads to an increase in long-term self-regulation and a decrease in anxiety among second-stage elementary school students. Therefore, time perspective training can be an appropriate method for time balancing, enhancing self-regulation, and consequently reducing students' anxiety.
